Even though we really wanted 2020 to be the year of COVID, it has certainly continue to impact 2021. There's all sorts of emotions, happy as we are together more, sad because plans are always changing, stress, anxiety, and likely many others. I am very appreciative that we are healthy, mostly happy and do not have any financial or food insecurities.
For spring break, it wasn't safe to travel but we definitely had fun. The Ware's, Yang's and us decided to take a trip to Nisswa, Minnesota and rented the Roy Lake cabins at Grandview Lodge. The water was still frozen but it was a ton of fun and we all had a great time. Each family had a cabin and we went to each cabin on a different day for meals.
This was our cabin. It was the only cabin without a bunkbed room and tub. This caused lots of angst and stress. Note to self, we will definitely request another room next time. Since it was still cold, there was a lot of fun turning on the "F place".
In addition to screen time :), we played board games, went on bike rides, carriage rides, lots of swimming in the indoor pool and smores. It was an amazing time and we all definitely want to go back again!
