It’s been such a fun and busy summer. I’m so happy we were able to spend quality Mama Beni time together. On Mondays and Tuesdays, dee dee went to daycare and it was just you and me!! We went to the Mall of America many times for Toddler Tuesday. You love the rides, lunch and seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We also went to the Como Zoo… well, we didn’t make it to the zoo, mainly the rides in Como Town. You went on the race car rides 7 times b/c you wanted to ride on every single car since they were a different color. The Science Museum was a lot of fun too! You really liked the tug boat and dinosaur exhibit.
I think one of your favorite trips was visiting Thomas and friends at the Children’s Museum. You loved helping Percy with his wheels, steam and lights. We also went on the train with our luggage.
Summer also included a ton of water fun!! We went to the splash pad, swim pond, and our pool at home. Right now, you’re back in swim class and having a blast. It’s almost making mama want to get a pool.
We also went to CT to see the Camerato’s. You went into the pool every day, went to the beach in Masquamicut and had a blast with Yipao, Uncle Johnny, Meibo and Anthony. Luckily for all of us, you’re a pro traveler, love flying and airplanes!
To round out the summer, we went to the State Fair. You stayed for FIVE hours and loved the rides. And, you love taking the bus to and from the fair as well.

7/11 – My boob is not big enough for dee dee’s milk
7/13 – Waaaaait a second!!
7/15 – Started to make up your own stories and always start off as “once upon a time”
7/20 – Baba – did you pass gas? Beni – yeah, I just popped one
8/10 – That’s a sad face (dee dee). Mama – should I help him? Beni – no
8/25 – This oreo does not fit in the container, I need to eat it
9/2 – If I get the bed wet, baba will be feeeeriuos!!
9/8 – Wyatt made poor choices
9/11 – friend at school – “I think I might have pinched him” Teacher “thank you for not biting him. What else could we do?” Friend “Should I kick him?” Beni “We use our words”
9/12 – That cookie dough sure smells good!

Completely able to dress yourself (shoes too!)
At school conferences, it was noted that you are the peacemaker with your friends
Beni, we love you so much. You bring a smile to my face everyday. You make me laugh with all your cute expressions and chatter. I am so happy to be your mama. It was a perfect summer and I’m so happy to have had the time off to be with you J
