Hey Ben,

Your teacher conferences has been very consistent over the years.  Here's what Li Laoshi had to say:

Ben is 'super bright'.  He has grown in math and also see great growth in Chinese.  Reading comprehension is also his strength (this is an improvement from previous years).  

Effort 2.5 / 4 - Ben could put more effort into his work, specifically Chinese sentences and completing his work

Homework 3/4

On task 3.5/ 4

Organization 3.5/ 4

There will be more info coming for middle school (6th grade).  If he chooses to stay in Chinese, homeroom, language arts and social studies will be in Chinese.  Math will not be in Chinese.

Your teacher has encouraged you to build a stronger work ethic and you do try to negotiate to do less work (lol) 

Happy 11th Birthday Benjamin!!

Beni Berger, you turned ELEVEN!! How did that happen?  Happy, happy birthday Benjamin, I love you so much :)  This year, we were able to have a birthday party as COVID is at a better place.  I decided to delay your party a couple weeks for the cases to get better.

We had your birthday at Tactical Urban Combat in the Mall of America on a Saturday morning.  It was amazing!  You had the best time and so did your friends.  Laser tag for two hours, all to yourselves.  There was a big turnout, Tad, Siena, Andrew, Cooper, Daniel, Tomas, Henry T, Amiel, Ethan and Oscar.  Big Tad and your Dad also joined in on the fun.  After laser tag, there was plenty of time for pizza, cookies and cake.  

Happy Birthday Ben!  We love you so much :)
