COVID-19 and our Spring Break

In March, we had an unprecedented event - Coronavirus or COVID-19.  The virus originated in China and has now reached all parts of the world except Antartica.  It has pretty much stopped everything.  Many countries including ours have started lockdowns, curfews and closing of public gathering spots (malls, restaurants, etc).  We are doing this to try and not overload the healthcare system.

Mama and baba have prepared the home for quarantine measures.  We have plenty of food, fun and medication.  Right now your school is closed until further notice.  Baba is working from home as his office is closed.  Mama works both from home and in the office.  Megan is here to help babysit during the day.  It's been challenging times.

However, we are still very fortunate.  We have a safe home, we have food, heat, hot water, internet and we are all healthy.  Some families may not be as fortunate.  Moms and Dads may not have jobs and can't pay the bills.  We will try and help in any way we can.

The biggest bummer for us right now is spring break.  We were all set to go to Hawaii but cannot go now.  Hawaii has a mandatory quarantine and most places are closed.
