2019 Fall MEA - Legoland!

We always like to take advantage of MEA weekend.  It's a great time to take a mid-way break before all the holidays come upon us.  This year, we decided to try out Legoland in California.  The Ware's love Legoland and it was Tad's birthday present request.  We met up in San Diego, first visiting the zoo for a day.  Then we spent a full day with the Wares at Legoland.  Afterwards, we had two more days to explore the park, including the Halloween evening special.

Competitive Baba on Ninjago

Baba stayed true to form - Bill Berger Amusement park maximizer.  We had early hours and did a fast hustle to the ninjago ride on both days.  Then, we rode the ride 3-4 times before the lines started to get long.

"The Impossible Ninja"

This fella was quite the adventure.  There is an arcade game in front of the Ninjago ride.  Three tosses, ten bucks, you have to toss the ball to hit the front and then have it not hit a bar, land in the bottom bucket.  First, your brother REALLY, REALLY, REALLY needed one.  After spending about $70 bucks, Mama got it for him.  Then, when you saw, you wanted one too!  To be fair, the are awfully soft and cute.  So, mama tried a few times and we had to give up, you put on a brave face, slid on your sunglasses and tears came down your face.  Then, I shared with Baba how I got the ball.  After several tosses, he got you the green one!  We will all remember the experience. 

 

Then, it was quite the task to get these home.  They didn't fit in the luggage and we couldn't ship them back.  A couple of garbage bags, rubber bands, priority and fragile stickers, healthy tip, it arrived safe back at MSP.

MEA was an amazing time.  Everyone had fun, no one got hurt, swimming, animals, rides, lego adventures, trick or treating, what else can you ask for??!!  Thanks for being a great big brother and enjoying the trip.  You were helpful and nice to your little brother.  Lots of laughs, hugs, cuddles and an experience we won't forget.  Love you Beni Berger!!!!
