We had a super busy Christmas season. Before heading to Connecticut, you and baba went on a train ride to the North Pole to see Santa. You were super excited and also gave him your wish list. Then, you went to see Disney on Ice with mama. We saw Mather, Lightening and many other characters! One evening, you watched Charlie Brown which was extra special to me b/c I watched Charlie Brown every Halloween and Christmas. We also went to Santaland at downtown Macy’s.
Then, on Christmas day, we took a plane ride to see Yipao, Uncle Johnny, Meibo and Anthony. You had a blast in CT and even went to see the air museum twice! There were a ton of presents too. Lately, you’ve been really into hats. Meibo knitted you a pink one that you wear… all the time… even to bed.

- 12/16 – Talking Dusty is too loud. Baba, let’s take the batteries out. Now let’s put him in the bathtub
- 12/23 – Did we upgrade the credit card?
- 12/24 – Mama, you need to work harder and harder to get more money to buy big lightening
- 12/25 – why is everyone talking so much in bed? That’s a hint guys
- 12/31 – I need a toof fairy to get monies
- 1/6 – Mama, “Stop picking your butt, it’s dirty”. Beni, “yes it isn’t”
- 1/9 – Can I wake up didi? Why? b/c his drool can help me clean these buttons.
- Kindergarten assessment – “That looks really tricky. I think you should keep doing it”
- 1/17 – I don’t want to share b/c there’s construction here
- 1/19 – started to remember your dreams. You were wearing spider-man pj’s in the pool
- 1/22 – Rachel hit you. “I will have to think about forgiving Rachel. I don’t forgive her right now”.
I’m starting to plan your birthday. I can’t believe you’ll be four tomorrow! Yipao flew in to celebrate with you and we can’t wait to have cake and presents. Beni, the last four years has been filled with fun, laughs and love. You are smart, sassy and too cute. I love you sooo much big guy!!
