6 months already?

Happy 6 month birthday Benjamin! You are just changing and growing everyday - it's hard to keep up!! What has happened since our last post...

You love daycare. Ms. Kim and Ms. Nga love to take care and play with you. They are really great - helping you with your rash and making sure you have enough to eat everyday. Also, you love your new friends too. Lorilei is two weeks older than you and you spend time playing with her. You like all your other friends too... Wyatt and Will to name a few.

On 7/20, you started to play with Mr Squiggles in the car. You would pull on him and not let go, too funny. In addition, you would also take your brown toy and cover up your eyes from the bright sun when coming home from daycare.

When you are too tired, you try to keep yourself awake by cooing and cooing. Eventually, you would coo with your eyes closed and then fall asleep.

On your 6 month visit, you weighed 16 pounds, 12 ounces and grew 1/4 of an inch to 25-3/4. You've slowed down a little bit and fall into the 50% (ish) percentile on all your measurements. We think you slowed a little b/c you love to play at school and don't get a lot of nap time. You also itch at night due to your rash :( We've been trying everything under the sun but it keeps coming back! You received two more shots at your visit and was a trooper. Although Ms. Kim did tell us you were a little sad the next day at school. But good news, you were all better on the following day :)

Last week, Auntie Mei came to visit you and she is staying for two weeks! She LOVES spending time with her Beni. You like to hang out and nap with Auntie Mei. Also, everytime we go shopping Auntie Mei has to buy you something... you are one lucky little guy!

Yesterday, you started to make a new sound. It sounds like a little puppy whining. Very cute, don't know where you learned that one!




Lately, you are trying to crawl which is too cute... Soon enough, you will be all over the floors!
